Lustrous and reddish-purple to
iridescent blades of Covellite in cluster on matrix!
This is a Summitville Covellite cluster and look at
the incredible color of those blades.
Vibrant and very lustrous blades of reddish-purple roll and reflect the light from the
side
to side when the specimen is held and tilted. Many of the blades are also free standing
and actually point towards the viewer while the blades at top lay flat against the matrix.
From Summitville, Rio Grande County, Colorado.
Measures 7.5 cm by 5 cm by 4.8 cm in total size.

Cute miniature featuring Azurite
crystals coated by green Rosasite!
The largest Azurite measures 1.6 cm across
and both it and its smaller companions have very
distinctive habits despite being coated by the silky Rosasite. Small Rosasite crystals
cover
nearly all of the surrounding matrix as well and there is a good amount of surface
sparkle.
From the Tsumeb Mine (Tsumcorp Mine), Tsumeb, Otjikoto
Region (Oshikoto), Namibia.
Measures 4.2 by 6 cm by 3.5 cm in total size.
Price $685
Fine crystals of green Pyromorphite
atop cast-like matrix!
A sparkling specimen which is loaded with
Pyromorphite crystals and crystal sprays!
The specimen is very 3-dimensional with a cast-like matrix. The crystals climb atop the
sides and edges of the matrix and completely cover the backside portion of the upper
matrix.
For this reason, I feel the specimen could be displayed from either side and do quite
well.
From the Daoping Mine, Gongcheng City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous
Region, China.
Measures 7.3 cm by 4.8 cm by 3.5 cm in total size.
Price $985
Extremely lustrous specimen of sea-green colored
Smithsonite!
A beautifully formed and 3-dimensional specimen, this piece actually has two colors of
green which blend together to create a sparkling sea-green color. The botryoidal surfaces
scream luster as they convex and concave atop the sculptural matrix formations beneath.
From the El Refugio Mine, Choix, Sinaloa, Mexico.
Measures 9.5 cm by 10 cm by 5.4 cm in size.

Velvety clusters of Schorl Tourmaline
with Quartz on Albite matrix!
These lovely specimens have become very diffcult to
track down in the current market. They came
out about a decade ago and now I'm lucky if I see one or two at a mineral show.
This specimen
displays a superb crystal spray of nearly 4 cm in size, complete with all the tips and the
luster that
comes with. Small Quartz crystals are scattered about atop the Albite matrix, accenting
the Tourmalines.
From the Guadalupana Mine, Sierra del Chivato, Santa Cruz,
Mun. de Santa Cruz, Sonora, Mexico.
Measures 5.2 cm by 8.5 cm by 7.5 cm in total size.

Gemmy crystals of lavender Creedite on
matrix!
These crystals are large and isolated with a color that is more lavender than purple!
I personally prefer this look and think it's more beautiful than the darker purple
specimens. The crystals are very transparent and glassy, ranging from 1 to 1.5 cm.
Interestingly, there are a couple of orange Creedite crystals at the very top!
From Santa Eulalia, Chihuahua, Mexico.
Measures 5.4 cm by 5.3 cm in size.

Fine cluster of terminated Barite crystals
on Hematite matrix!
The specimen is in excellent condition with just minor contacts on a few crystal surfaces.
Only the normal trimming zone incompleteness is present. The matrix is a concave Hematite
cast which ranges from red to silvery grey. It serves as the perfect base for this glassy
xl cluster.

Classic specimen of glossy yellowish-green
Pyromorphite in a matrix vug!
The botryoidal surfaces of this specimen are so glossy and dazzling
that you might
be fooled into thinking this is Smithsonite! No damage to speak since the Pyros are
neatly tucked away inside matrix vugs on both the front and backside. Very nice!!
From La Vidale, Asprières, Decazeville, Aveyron, Midi-Pyrénées, France.

Fine cluster of Calcite crystals on
matrix!
At least a dozen terminated Calcites cover this matrix and all are
terminated! A faint reddish-
orange color accents some of the crystals as is probably the result of Hematite influence.
In excellent condition with one incomplete Calcite crystal which has fully rehealed.
From the Stank Mine, Barrow, Cumbria, England.
Measures 5 cm by 4.8 cm by 3.8 cm in total size.

Great looking combo featuring an
orange Quartz point with a large Rutilte crystal!
These stunning combos appeared on the market for a
short time in the 1990s and quickly
disappeared. I rarely see any these days but this one popped up at the show and I grabbed.
The Rutile is extremely shiny and lustrous and measures 2.4 cm in size. Its orange Quartz
crystal companion measures 1.3 cm in size. Both crystals are complete with full
terminations.
From Mount Kapydzhik, Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic,
Azerbaijan.
Measures 3.7 cm by 4 cm by 2.2 cm in total size.

A good looking classic specimen
featuring Malachite balls on matrix!
This specimen dates to the 1880 - 1890
timeframe and is one of the more unusual
specimens I've seen from the Bisbee area recently. The Malachite appears as rounded
nodules or balls and the few that have naturally broken open in the pocket appear to be
partially hollow inside. The surfaces range from shiny smooth to satiny lustrous. The
piece
looks great and is in very good shape. The few natural breaks do not detract in the least.
From Bisbee, Cochise County, Arizona.
Measures 9.8 cm by 8.7 cm by 4.6 cm in total size.
