Brilliant reddish-orange Quartz crystals criss-crossing atop white Quartz matrix!
These eye catching specimens have become very rare in today's marketplace and this is one of the best
examples I've seen in years. The orange Quartz crystals are in excellent shape and unusually clean with a deep
coloration that is unimpeded by the Quartz frosting that one sees more often than not with these specimens. The
crystal faces are very lustrous and are contrasted beautifully by the colorless Quartz druse along the back side.

Rare specimen featuring light blue Celestine crystals sitting atop bright yellow Sulfur!
This is an Italian classic, the likes of which I rarely see in the marketplace. The Celestine

transparent to translucent interiors and glassy-lustrous surfaces. The Sulfur matrix is a very
bright yellow and offers a beautiful contrast to the blue Celestine. In excellent condition with
barely a contact anywhere. The Sulfur has been stabilized on the bottom side along a crack.

MIN#Keystone-5

Attractive old classic displaying a frosted Calcite crystal on Chert matrix!
This is a specimen both a geologist and mineral collector could love because of the way it displays the frosted
and doubly terminated Calcite crystal set at an angle against the two sections of Chert matrix. This specimen
came of the Tri-State District Mines in the 1930's - 40's and has more character than most of what I see from
this region. I love the deep golden Calcite interiors which peak through at the perfect upper termination. The
white frosting is most likely an inclusion and it imparts a two-toned appearance to the Calcite that is very nice.

MIN#Keystone-6

Rare specimen of Acanthite crystals with Proustite on matrix!
This specimen is loaded with lustrous Acanthites and ruby-red Proustite crystals. I can't recall
seeing such a rich concentration on a single matrix before from Germany. The Acanthites are
sharp and raised up from the matrix. The largest triangular crystal in the close up photo measures
.7 cm in size. These crystals are surrounded by red Proustites and some are even partially covered
by them. The Proustites vary in size from a few mms to .5 cm. Overall the specimen is in excellent
shape with complete crystals and good aesthetics. A few of the Proustites are contacted but this is
pretty normal for Proustite specimens and it doesn't detract. You'd need a loupe to see the contacts.

MIN#Keystone-20

Super glassy crystals of deep blue Azurite with green Malachite sprays on matrix!
This is a screamer of an Azurite specimen if you appreciate chisel-perfect and highly lustrous
Azurite crystals. I won't make the comparison of these Azurites with those of Milpillas because
the look is somewhat different but they are every bit as impressive to me. The largest of these
freestanding Azurite crystals measures 2 cm in size and they were obviously well protected by the
concave pocket in which they formed because all are pristine, save for a couple of small ones
that touched matrix. This is a specimen that must be seen to be fully appreciated. The picture is
good but the specimen itself is many times better in person. The crystal luster is mind blowing.

a thin Quartz druse coating. This is usually old material and quite beautiful material as well,
with a variation of the green color that I can't recall seeing from any other locality. It's a light

MIN#Keystone-26

Rare specimen of Calcite crystals in cluster perched atop Marcasite matrix!
This is the first specimen I've offered from the Cadjebut Mine and they are anything but common. Most
specimens came to market about 20 years ago in the mid 1990's and quickly disappeared into private
collections. Mindat.org only has a few specimens pictured and this piece is far superior to all of those.
There are about a dozen crystals here, all well striated and lustrous with excellent transparency. They
also display a light golden coloration. The Calcite sit atop a matrix of lustrous Marcasite crystals which
is another mineral this locality is known for. All in all, in great condition with only a few minor contacts.

MIN#Keystone-36

Unique combination featuring lavender-blue Fluorite cubes sitting atop deep purple Fluorite octahedrons!
This is a fascinating specimen which features two distinct habits and generations of Fluorite. The lavender
cubes appear to be the original Fluorite and they were later partially overgrown by much larger, purple
octahedrons measuring to 5.7 cm in size. Another interesting feature is that the interiors of the purple
Fluorites are deep green. This means the dark purple Fluorite were originally green before changing
color somewhere along the formation process. In excellent condition with no detractions to speak of.

standing upright on the far left measures 2.2 cm in size. It displays a perfect chisel-tipped termination
and sits atop a surface of Malachite ps after Azurite crystals. Several smaller Azurite crystals climb the
left side of the chatoyant Malachite. The contrast between the two is beautiful and there is no damage.

Pretty specimen featuring light pink Dolomite crystals perched atop orange Quartz!
This is an aesthetic specimen that is interesting since I've not seen another like it. The Dolomite
crystals are well formed and complete. They contrast very well with the darker orange surface of
the sparkling micro-Quartz covered surface. In excellent condition overall and from a lesser seen
locality. The orange Quartz also covers both sides so the specimen can be displayed front or back.

Exceptional combination specimen of large Galena cubes with Calcite crystals on matrix!
A stunning piece that is as aesthetic as it is impressive! The Galena cubes are brilliant and lustrous,
with the largest at top measuring 5.6 cm in size. The smaller cube below measures 3 cm in size. Both
crystals sit atop a sparkling matrix of Dolomite and Sphalerite. The Calcite crystals in the middle and
along the right side add the perfect balance to the Galena and all are terminated save for one and along
the outer trimming edge. The single cleaved Calcite gets lost among the others and is not noticeable.
This is one of the finest Galena combo specimens I've seen from this locality and is a major centerpiece.

Impressive large cabinet specimen featuring huge Almandine Garnets in Chlorite Schist matrix!
This is a true centerpiece. The Garnets are quite large, with the largest at top measuring 5.7 cm
and 4.6 cm in size. The color of each is a beautiful dark red with varying zones of pure red and a bright,
reflective luster on every crystal face. This is a classic locality that has been collected for centuries and
specimens from here have to be carefully exposed from the surrounding Schistic matrix. They did an superb
job with this plate. Every Garnet is exposed just enough to display the sharp form and there is no damage.

Rare and unusual! Brilliant crystals of Calcite from New Jersey!
This is the first and only Calcite specimen I've seen from the Chimney Rock locality in New Jersey.
The crystals are rhombohedral, and for the most part, twinned, with an intense rolling surface luster
that is very difficult to convey with a photograph. It's there however and the specimen is very flashy
in person. The Calcites are internally clear, but overgrowth by a milky layer and a light gray dusting of
some other mineral. Very nice specimen and a rare locality for Calcite collectors to add to their cabinet.

but their quality is quite good. These Chrome-Cerussites came out about 7 years ago and disappeared
from the market very quickly. The crystals stand upright on the matrix and exhibit a fine waxy luster.

some of which is accented by dark gray patterning. A seam of Silver is visible across the center

the gray patterning is, but it does add an interesting contrast to the Silver crystals scattered about.

Is this specimen a pseudomorph of some kind or just a freak of nature? My guess would be
with the second option but anything is possible. The color is a lovely bluish-green or sea green
