Exceptional and Museum Calibre specimen of crystalline Native Gold on white
This incredible cabinet sized specimen of crystalline Native Gold on Quartz is
the finest Gold I've ever offered
on the website in our over twenty years of business. Is is completely
crystalline from top to bottom, front and back.
The crystals are sharp and distinct with an intense luster that makes the
specimen pop out against the white Quartz.
It rises upwards nearly 13 cm and features elongated crystals measuring up to 3
cm in size! The specimen is easily
displayable from both sides and would make an exceptional centerpiece for the
finest collections. If you're looking
for a MAJOR Native Gold of the richest color with dazzling brilliance
throughout, then this is the specimen for you.

red rhombs of Rhodochrosite set atop dark matrix!
This specimen makes me think of the Sweet Home but it is actually from Peru. The
rhombs will fool you
somewhat since most Peruvian Rhodo specimens feature scalenohedrons. The color
is a very rich and
slightly translucent cherry-red with a warm internal glow that you would expect
in a fine Rhodochrosite
from the Sweet Home. Fortunately, this specimen costs just a fraction of the
price. In excellent condition.

Beautiful combination of bi-colored Fluorapophyllite with Stilbite and
Laumontite on volcanic Basalt matrix!
A large, fine, lustrous and translucent crystal of Fluorapophyllite, measuring
5.3 cm across is perched on drusy quartz-covered Basalt.
The crystal exhibits a bi-colored appearance, ranging from a rich pastel green
to faint green. Lustrous, peach colored crystals of Stilbite
to 2.5 cm, frame the Apophyllite. Also present atop the textured matrix are
small white Laumontite crystals. In excellent condition.

Amazing specimen featuring gemmy
Golden Calcite crystals inside a fossilized clam shell (Mercenaria Permagna) ON
These specimens formed from old clam shells which were buried many years ago,
allowing the Calcium to transform and grow into
Calcite crystals over time. As the Calcite crystals grew, the Calcium was taken
from the outer shell which caused it to dissolve
as the transformation took place. Specimens of this quality with complete shells
are very rare. Matrix specimens like this one
are unbelievably rare. Actually, this is the only open clam shell specimen that
I've ever seen on matrix from this locality.

plate featuring brilliant
crystals of reddish-orange Vanadinite on matrix!
Brilliant, lustrous, and pristine are the the three words that describe these
large Vanadinite crystals! The crystals are
very distinct and contacts are nearly impossible to fine. The largest Vanadinite
crystal measures to nearly 2 cm in size
but most are larger than 1 cm and there are dozens and dozens of them on this
From the 2009 find, noted
for its thick, robust crystals. In excellent condition with few contacts, this
plate makes an exceptional centerpiece.

Super aesthetic combination of Native Silver with Acanthite crystals and
Frieberg Silvers are among the most attractive and sought-after Silvers in
existence, and this attractive miniature well illustrates the reasons.
This is an elegant piece! The pair of Silver wires curve up beautifully from
their attachment at the base, and the wires are coated by Acanthite crystals.
For additional color accent, the wires have a partial microcrystalline coating
of tan Siderite and white Calcite. Overall, this is an aesthetic and very fine
combination piece that would grace any mineral collection. With its unique form,
it is one of the finest, most unique Freiberg minatures that I have seen.

Gemmy crystals of bluish-green Barite on pink Dolomite crystal covered matrix!
Highly lustrous and transparent at the tips, these Blue Barite crystals offer a
beautiful contrast with the
Hematite colored Dolomite crystals covering the host matrix. In excellent shape

glassy Barites and only some minor matrix influence along the lower left edge of
the largest Barite crystal.

Gorgeous and unusually rich
example of bi-colored Beryl (Aqua-Morganite)!
A sharp, single crystal specimen of Beryl showing gemmy blue Aquamarine atop
rich Morganite, which is a color pattern not often seen.
This specimen, from a small find in early 2014, is a superb miniature. The blue
zone is over 1 cm thick, and is no "thin line" of color from one angle
as can sometimes happen. This is simply a bold and dramatic color! The pink body
on this piece is especially rich. The crystal is nearly complete all
around, with only some matrix contact irregularity on the back. The termination
is a perfect hexagonal right out of a textbook. Stunningly beautiful!

Lustrous crystals of deep

plate of dendritic Native Silver on Native Arsenic matrix!
I haven't offered one of these specimens in a while because it's so difficult to
find a good one that I like.

prefer with a rich coverage.

Gorgeous specimen of vibrant green
Fluorite octahedrons with Quartz druse! This is a
sculptural specimen which displays a
glowing layer of small Fluorite crystals along the right side, accompanying a
lustrous and quite
translucent emerald green Fluorite octahedron, measuring 3 cm on an edge and 4
cm across the tips. The large crystal is partially encased
by a sparkling druse of dark Quartz alternating with white Quartz, for contrast.
Like others in this find, it is unique in its own, even amongst
the many specimens from the big find of several years ago. This specimen is
complete all around and has depth and superb richness of color.

Glowing specimen of Golden Fluorite with bluish zoning and large wheat sheaf
bundles of Calcite crystals!
This attractive plate has a little bit of everything. It features a wonderful
center section of etched Fluorite in
a concave structure, with glassy surfaced Fluorite cubes above and along the
sides. These lustrous cubes are
well zoned with a bluish-lavender zoning and glow with a vibrant golden
coloration with just a hint of orange.
Framing the plate along the left side and upper edge are numerous bundles of
wheat sheaf-like Calcite crystals.
In excellent condition with contacting limited to the outer trimming edges. A
unique and colorful Fluorite plate.

Super shiny botryoidal surfaces of reddish-brown Hematite from the old mines in
This fine specimen is an excellent representative of Michigan Hematite which I
rarely see in the marketplace
and if I do, they usually come from older collections. This specimen is from the
Tracy Mine and was probably
mined in the 1960's or 1970's. Oddly enough, I just noticed that the Tracy Mine
is currently up for sale if anyone is
interested at the very reasonable asking price of $250k. This piece is in great
shape with clean, contact free surfaces.

Gorgeous cabinet sized cluster of Quartz var.
This is a classic specimen of South Carolina Amethyst. The crystals are
large and glassy with
a grape juice coloration. There are no real detractions to speak of with
this fine specimen - only
trivial micro-bumps here and there. This is one of the finest specimens of
this size range I've seen.
It is also completely covered by crystals on all sides and could be
displayed on a rotating base.

Gorgeous plate of golden
Fluorite cubes on matrix from the old Silver Mining District of Germany!
A large matrix piece with a very rich coverage of fluorite, from this small and
important find in the old Silver district.
It showcases large and colorful crystals to nearly 2 cm. Contacted around the
edges, only. This is, I am told, the largest
plate that was available in such excellent condition. A very impressive German
Fluorite and a must for a Fluorite collection.

Lustrous leaf of Native Silver with Acanthites on Native Silver!
This is a fascinating Native Silver and essentially a two-sided specimen. The
large Native Silver leaf juts out from the main
Silver portion, displaying beautifully textured and brilliantly lustrous
surfaces. On the backside (or front side if you prefer) are
Acanthite crystalline balls along the bottom, just below the leaf. A great
looking Silver from a lesser seen and rarer Cobalt mine.

Lovely cabinet plate featuring Tourmaline

glassy, well striated faces.

the same. Very nice!
