Incredible
combination featuring a large Morganite crystal perched atop Pink Kunzite and
white Albite!
This was one of the more spectacular combination specimens I brought back from
the show. Both the Morganite
and Kunzite are deeply colored with the Morganite displaying a bit more orange
in the pink. They are separated
by a bright white matrix of Cleavelandite and a single smaller Kunzite crystal.
The Morganite is textbook with a
well formed hexagonal habit. The back right side displays a complex matrix
influence on the termination and
slightly matted faces while the front side is all GEM with super glassy,
transparent interiors. The Kunzite is
doubly terminated and super glassy with a rolling luster atop its well striated
surfaces. A remarkable specimen!

Very fine example featuring
numerous Boleite cubes on hardened matrix!
There are over half a dozen of these lustrous blue crystals, with the largest
cubes measuring around .9 cm
in size. All are stable on the matrix and there is no damage to speak of except
for trivial bumps. The cubes
are also mostly clean with very little matrix attachment. The corners glow under
lighting. In excellent condition.

Beautiful
specimen featuring a Smoky Quartz scepter rising vertically from a bed of Rose
Quartz crystals!
Aesthetic combination of two varieties of Quartz, both sitting atop Albite
matrix. There are actually two
Smoky Quartz crystals here with the second being a non-sceptered but equally
terminated crystal to the
right of the main Smoky. Both display superb glassy surfaces and a lovely Smoky
color with frosted tips
in the interior of both terminations. The pink Rose Quartz crystals measure to
2.5 cm in size and cover
the entire base of the specimen from left to right. They are further enhanced by
the stark white matrix.

Gorgeous and SUPER lustrous specimen of yellow and orange Pyromorphite clustered

center. The eye
is immediately drawn to the shimmering surfaces of each dazzling crystal! In

Stunning specimen of glassy emerald-green Dioptase with Calcite crystals!
It's difficult to capture the
incredible beauty of this specimen. Dioptase is always
a challenge to photograph
but the concave structure of the specimen adds to the
difficulty. The specimen is basically a cast on the
backside with a gorgeous
display
of intensely reflective, glassy-green Dioptase jewels. Breathtaking
and
impressive
both, the Dioptase is perfectly accented by white Calcite crystals along the
right
edge.
Easily one of the finest Dioptase specimens I've seen from the locality and in
excellent condition.

Fine specimen
featuring a red, Hematite included Triangular Calcite atop smaller Calcites!
Triangular Calcites are rare specimens and highly prized by Chinese collectors!
This beautiful crystal
prominently sits atop a bed of smaller Hematite included Calcites. It measures
nearly 6 cm by 5 cm in
size and displays a perfect, satiny lustrous triangle. This is the only of these
highly desirable Calcites I have.

Cabinet specimen of Brazilianite
crystals with Cassiterite on Albite crystals!
This specimen was the finest example of Brazilianite I saw at the show. The
crystals are perfect
and undamaged from largest to smallest with very glassy faces and the Albite is
white and sharp.
The contrast between the two minerals is incredible! The largest Brazilianite
crystal measures
3 cm in size and there are over a dozen gemmy crystals atop the well defined
Albite crystals.

Extremely
rare specimen of Native Silver on matrix from Utah!
This specimen is from the Tintic Mining District and is the first Silver I've
offered from this seldomly seen locality.
Atop the hard rock matrix atop a seam of white Calcite is a series of flattened
Native Leaf Silver, flattened as a result
of the narrowness of the seam in which it formed. The Silver measures nearly 6
cm in size and resembles an actual
leaf with its arborescent appearance. There's probably some Native Copper as
well which is typical for the locality.

Smithsonite in cast form!
Pure green is a color of Smithsonite that has become very difficult to find in

surfaces while at the show and I was impressed with its color and pristine,
lustrous matrix free surfaces.

Rare specimen
of crystalline Galena on matrix from the old Wheatley Mine!
Specimens of Galena from this locality that actually display mirror-lustrous
crystal faces are very difficult
to find at the shows and this is the first I've seen in a long time. Galenas
from this old classic American locality
(dating back to the revolutionary war or earlier) are usually found with crude
forms and coated surfaces but this
specimen is similar to one from the Tri-State District. It's also likely to be
Argentiferous with a Silver component.

Large cabinet sized
specimen of Desert Glass from the Egyptian Desert!
I've sold many of these translucent
yellowish-green Impact Glass specimens
but this is by far the largest and most impressive I've ever offered on the
website.
These were formed by a meteorite impact in the Western Desert of Egypt long ago
which shocked and melted the sand to form glassy Tektite specimens, many of
which have formations that resemble the surface of a meteorite. The discovery
of Reidite confirms that it was from an ancient meteorite impact approximately
29 million years ago. Weathering since is probably the reason for the textured
surfaces. This specimen is not only large and exhibits a glowing translucense,
but it also displays a wonderful surface texture and meteoritic appearance!

Libyan Desert Glass Area, Great Sand Sea, Western Desert, Egypt.

completely pristine with chatoyant
frosted surfaces atop the royal blue surfaces. It's very difficult to find an
unblemished Shattuckite of this size.

specimen of gemmy Native Sulfur crystals on Aragonite matrix!
This is a classic specimen from the long closed mines in Sicily, Italy. It
displays large gemmy crystals,
many of which are doubly terminated. They are lustrous and transparent,
measuring to 3.3 cm atop the
brown Aragonite matrix. There are well over a dozen crystals of varying sizes here
and all light up and
glow when displayed under case lighting. There's also a small amount of natural
bitumen adding both
color and originality. In excellent condition, this was one of the top Sulfur
specimens I found in Tucson.

Large,
impressive speckled Calcite crystal on a bed of smaller Calcites from Wales!

small, horizontal Calcites. Both
the large Calcite and smaller crystals are covered with a glassy, speckled

This lovely plate of lustrous green Pyromorphite crystals is an exceptional

dozens of glassy, terminated crystals. One thing I didn't see however was broken
