Super aesthetic
specimen featuring crystals of Native Silver on Epidote covered matrix!
This fine specimen is host to half a dozen well formed, lustrous crystals of
Native Silver. This is one of the
most appealing Silver specimens I've seen in the miniature size range with its
spinel-twinned crystals and
brilliant, lustrous surfaces. The specimen is very sculptural and attractive
with a thick, stout crystal structure.
From the Kearsarge Lode, Kearsarge Mine, Kearsarge,
Houghton County, Michigan.
Measures 4.8 cm by 3.6 cm by 1.6 cm in total size.

Fine
iridescent crystal
blades of Covellite in drusy covered matrix pockets!
A beautiful specimen from Colorado displaying some of the
sharpest Covellite blades you will
ever see! The color ranges from midnight blue to purple and I can't find a
single negative thing
to say about this fine specimen. Considering that most Summitville Covellites
are unattatractive,
thick clusters, I much prefer the individual blades and acquire every example I
can find. No damage.
From the Reynolds Tunnel,
Summitville Mine, Summitville District, Rio Grande Co., Colorado.
Measures 7.4 cm by 5.4 cm by 5.7 cm in total size.

Gorgeous deep orange
crystals of Orpiment in cluster!
I'm not finding as much of this material as I did in years past and this small
cabinet sized specimen
is one of the better in terms of balance, color, and flash. There's also very
little contacting on the
chisel-tipped Orpiment crystal surfaces which tends to be a problem with many of
these specimens.
From Cut 62 of the Twin Creeks Mine, Humboldt County,
Nevada.

Impressive and quite
beautiful specimen featuring a large, doubly terminated Calcite with green
Fluorites on matrix!
Also with Dolomite along the back side, this is a lovely combination specimen
the likes of which I haven't seen before.
The nearly 12 cm Calcite is perfectly doubly terminated with silky, lustrous
surfaces. It it accompanied on both sides
and along the back side of the sparkling drusy covered matrix by gemmy green
Fluorite cubes of a modified nature.
Some well defined Dolomite crystals are also present along the back side. In
excellent condition with no detractions.

Mine, Leiyang Co., Hengyang Prefecture, Hunan Province, China.

Incredible specimen featuring spinel-twinned crystals of Native Copper on
matrix!
I've seen these very impressive spinel twins at the shows but 98% of them are
single crystals which
are off matrix. This is the first matrix specimen I've ever offered on the
website and it also features TWO
crystals on the matrix with the largest, a 5.5 cm spinel, wrapping around the
vertical crystal in the foreground!
This is an amazing piece, sharp and lustrous, and exhibited no damage
whatsoever. It's also the only one I have.

New Mexico.

Fine, glassy
crystals of Beryl var. Goshenite with Schorl
Tourmaline and Albite!
This is a really attractive specimen. A group of these fine Goshenite on
Schorls recently came
to market and I cherry picked some of the best specimens from those
available. The Goshenites
are mostly doubly terminated and gemmy to translucent with glassy crystal
faces. They contrast
very well with the shiny black surfaces of the Schorl Tourmaline crystals.
In excellent condition.

Tri-State Classic featuring gorgeous
crystals of deep golden Calcite on Chert matrix!
This is one of the finest Tri-State Calcites
that I've ever offered. The crystals are gemmy with
some of the best golden color you'll ever see from this classic mining district. Their
color is more
in line with something you'd see coming from the Elmwood Mine! I love the way three
distinct
crystals habits appear on the same matrix, with the largest crystal in the back being
doubly
terminated. It measures 7.5 cm in length and it as clear as glass near the tips and along
the
upper edge. I can read the label card through the interior of the crystal! In excellent
condition
with no damage to speak of - this specimen is incredibly well preserved considering its
age.
Locality: Picher Mine, Picher Field, Tri-State District, Ottawa
County, Oklahoma.

Beautifully crystallized Native Copper
"fan" on Native Copper crystals!
This specimen is somewhat unusual for the
White Pine Mine which is usually known for its
wires and fine dendrites. The top portion is an impressive crystalline fan that can be
displayed
from either the front or back sides. The fan sits atop a more typical dendritic crystal
formation at
the bottom and I love the visual impact of a large fan-like arrangement of crystals atop a
smaller
dendritic growth. This is the way the specimen is displayed on its acrylic base as well.
The surfaces
are lustrous and the crystallization is sharp and distinctive. A lovely antique patina
covers all surfaces
and also allows the reddish color to peak through between the crystal faces. This is a
great display piece.
From the White Pine Mine, White Pine, Ontonagon County,
Michigan.
Measures 19.7 cm by 8.7 cm by 1.8 cm in total size.

Rare gemmy golden crystals of Calcite on matrix from Tanzania!
This is the only pure Calcite specimen I've seen from Tanzania so they are definately not
common
in the marketplace. The crystals are actually large transparent blades with crystal faces
along the
front display side. In other words, the blades are flat on the back side and display
modified faces on
front. The surfaces are flassy and lustrous with no visible contacting. An attractive and
unique specimen.
Note - There are no photos of
Calcite for this locality on mindat.org, attesting to its rarity!

The largest Aqua crystal measures nearly 7 cm in size and displays a lovely blue
coloration
along with glassy surfaces and a gemmy, transparent interior. It is accompanied
by several
smaller Aquamarines and fine Muscovite blades along the left edge. The
Aquamarine sits
aesthetically atop a super lustrous, black Cassiterite crystal measuring 3.6 cm

are smooth and satiny in texture. They contrast beautifully with the crystalline
blue Azurite balls
which cover the dark surface from top to bottom. In excellent condition for the
age with no damage.

Artistic specimen

This fine specimen is from the world famous Kongsberg locality and it has all
the presence
of a much larger Silver at a reduced size. The wires have a lovely antiquish
patina and a good
bit of surface luster. They are intermingled with small crystals of Acanthite
which can be seen
scattered atop the numerous twists and curls. This is a wonderful Silver at an
excellent price.

Incredible crystalline ball cluster
of Calcites on Pyrite covered matrix with other Calcites!
This
is the first Calcite from Hungary
of this size that I've seen and it is a complete crystalline ball, measuring
8.7 cm by 8.5 cm in size sitting atop a Pyrite accented matrix and other larger
Calcite crystals near the base.
The Calcite crystals that form the ball and cover the bottom are all incredibly
shiny surfaced with a glassy
luster over translucent to transparent interiors. Pyrite crystals and orangish
Hematite accenting add color to
the otherwise colorless Calcites. In excellent condition with no detractions and
great eye appeal & aesthetics!

Very rich nest of Native Silver wires
on matrix from Cobalt!
Silver wires are very rare from the Cobalt Mining Area as most Silver was found
in rich veins
throughout the district. This sweet little specimen displays one of the richest
nest of wires I've seen
from Cobalt and they sit perfectly atop the greenish matrix. Would make a great
competition piece.

Cabinet sized specimen of Fishtail
Selenite crystals!
An awesome display specimen, I rarely see these
twinned Selenite crystals anymore and specimens of
this condition without damage and or major scuffing are extremely hard to find! The
largest fishtail twin
at the top measures 9 cm in height and 8 cm in width. It's surrounded by a smaller twin on
the front and
untwinned Selenite crystals on the side and back. All sit aesthetically atop a hard white

Aesthetic combination specimen of
Malachite with smoky Cerussite crystals!
I think I also see a little bit of Duftite in the mix. The Cerussite crystals are isolated
on the matrix which is always nice and their smoky interiors are highlighted by very
glassy
faces. There are some tiny bumps here and there and the usual contacting along the
trimming edge
but most are complete and in excellent shape. The Malachite appears mainly as a mound at
the top
and there are doubly terminated Cerussite crystals sitting atop and all the around the
Malachite base.
