Very aesthetic display of blue Chrysocolla over spherical Malachite on Chysocolla covered matrix!

Item #A3

Stunning specimen of crystalline Native Gold on Quartz matrix!
What a gorgeous specimen! It's completely crystalline with elongated dendritic crystal growth.
When the specimen was forming, a small seam probably opened in the Quartz and allowed for
the development of the dramatic elongated crystals. The amazing thing is this happened on both
the front and back side of the specimen! The flattened crystalline growth at the tips is pure
trigon in structure, displaying beautiful patterns throughout. This specimen is a wonder
to see under a 10X loupe! All the Gold surfaces are extremely bright and super lustrous!
From the Eagle's Nest Mine, Placer County, California.

Gorgeous cabinet sized plate of Quartz var Amethyst with red Hematite accenting!
I love Thunderbay Amethyst specimens but they appear so rarely at the shows that I almost

Hematite accented surfaces of purple and red. The crystal points are sharp and complete as well.

Superb specimen of Realgar crystals in cluster with Picropharmacolite!
I can't stress enough how hard it is to find fine Realgar specimens in the marketplace.
They mostly disappeared over a decade ago and I rarely see them at the shows. This is
a superb small miniature with deep red Realgar crystals, all of which are in excellent condition.
White Picropharmacolite sprays can be seen around the periphery and these provide an aesthetic
contrast between the two minerals. In excellent condition with excellent color and no scuffing.

These are not commonly seen in this quality. The surfaces of the specimen are glassy and reflective
with a great deal of brilliance and flash atop the deeply purple colored crystals. There is no damage

Item #A21

Exceptional specimen of Native Wire Silver with Calcite crystals from Schneeberg, Germany!
A true rarity with a structure that resembles Silvers from Freiberg but rarer with an association of Calcite crystals.
I can't recall seeing anything of this dramatic style from Schneeberg since most specimens from here tend to consist
of shorter, squatty wires. These study wires rise up from a base which features several Calcite crystals and a gray
accenting of Acanthite drusy. The aesthetics are superb and for a specimen in the small cab size range, very impressive.

Item #A25

2 rich specimens of Native Gold from historic Cripple Creek, Colorado!
The first specimen at top is a rich example of Roasted Gold from Telluride minerals, most
likely Calaverite.
Prospectors and miners would often "roast" pieces of Telluride bearing ore
causing the Tellurium in the Telluride minerals to be driven off as a gas, leaving behind bubbles
of nearly pure Gold! The Gold bubbles in this specimen can be seen all over the reddish matrix.

The second specimen features Native Gold crystals and wires in Limonite stained Quartz!
I usually see Gold Telluride minerals from the Cripple Creek area but this is a true example
Native Gold crystals. The Gold wire along the upper right edge measures .6 cm in size.
Locality: Cripple Creek Mining District, Teller County, Colorado.
