MIN#Denver2016-101 NEW!

Classic plate featuring fine ribbons of Native Gold scattered atop brown Quartz crystals!
I rarely encounted Colorado Gold specimens at the shows and this one came to market from an older
collection. The Hematite stained Quartz crystal surface plays host to numerous crystalline ribbons of
brilliant Native Gold, including several clusters. The Gold is very lustrous and easily visible against the
darker brown background. The is a cabinet sized plate and would make a great addition to a Colorado suite!
From the Telluride District (Upper San Miguel District), San Juan Mts, San Miguel County, Colorado.
Measures 12.6 cm by 9.6 cm by 7.4 cm in total size.

normally sees from this classic locality and the surfaces display a highly reflective luster that rolls along the surfaces.

MIN#Denver2016-106 Sold!

Beautiful bi-colored specimen of Plumbogummite after Pyromorphite crystals!
This very fine specimen is from a recent find in China and was hand picked for its aesthetic
display and perfection of crystals. The largest crystals in this cluster measure around 1.5 cm
and there are dozen of terminated crystals spraying out in all directions. Surrounding the blue
crystals is a border of bright yellow Pyromorphite coloration indicating that the crystals only
have a partial pseudomorphing in this area. In excellent condition with crystals popping out
in all directions from the Pyromorphite seam running along the edge of the specimen. This is
a specimen that could be displayed in myriad of ways, all very attractive with superb color.
From the Yangshuo Mine, Guangxi Zhuang A. R., China.
Measures 4 cm by 6.1 cm by 3.2 cm in total size.

Brilliant cabinet display specimen featuring Chlorite included Quartz crystals on matrix!
A spectacular cluster with a main vertical crystal measuring 11+ cm in size, sitting atop the matrix
and terminated perfectly atop criss-crossing crystals at its base. The lower crystals display moss-like
inclusions of green Chlorite beneath crystal-clear surfaces. Very glassy and in excellent condition with
only two small natural contacts near the tips of the lower Quartz crystals. These do not detract and are
nearly invisible when the specimen is viewed. The main Quartz crystal is pristine with full brilliance.
From Ganesh Himal (Ganesha), Dhading District, Bagmati Zone, Nepal.
Measures 17.3 cm by 11.5 cm by 7.4 cm in total size.

This is a very aesthetic specimen and one of the best balanced of these combos that I've seen in quite
some time. The Quartz crystals are in excellent condition and are the Dolomites. Lustrous, golden cubes
of Pyrite are located near the bottom of the plate and I only detect a single contact along the trim edge.

MIN#Denver2016-113 NEW!

Lovely specimen of uniquely colored Calcite crystals on sparkling Quartz crystals!
The Calcites penetrate one another as if twinned and exhibit a unique darker brown outer
edge over gemmy golden interiors. The specimen appears to be phantomed and this is one
of the first specimens of this type that I've offered from India. Save for a single tiny corner
bump, the crystals are perfect and glassy-lustrous. The largest Calcite measures 3.5 cm and
with proper lighting, all three glow brilliantly against the dazzling Quartz crystal lined matrix.

MIN#Denver2016-114 NEW!

RARE old classic of Rhodochrosite crystals on Pyrolusite from Germany!
This is a specimen that dates back to the mid 1800's and is from a locality that rarely appears in the
marketplace. The crystals are quite gemmy and cover the dark Pyrolusite matrix in a way that makes them
very similar in appearance to South African Rhodochrosite specimens. The Louise Mine is an old iron mine that
closed over 80 years ago. Specimens of Rhodochrosite of this quality are almost unheard of from this classic locale.
From the Louise Mine, Bürdenbach, Altenkirchen, Wied Iron Spar District, Westerwald, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.
Measures 7.8 cm by 4.2 cm by 4.3 cm in total size.

across the corners and are complete with a mirror-like surface luster. They are surrounded by smaller Galenas
