Amazing
combination plate featuring crystals of Native Silver emerging from white
Calcite with Sphalerite crystals!
Silver crystals from Morocco are not exceptionally rare but in association with
Sphalerite they are very rare. The crystals
of Silver are angular and blocky and were exposed from Calcite as were the
Sphalerite crystals which both measure about
1 cm in size. They are mostly brown with yellowish highlights and the isolated
way they sit atop the matrix is very appealing.
Locality: Tamdrost Mine, Tamdrost, Bou Azzer District,
Tazenakht, Ouarzazate Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region, Morocco.
Measures: 7.4 cm by 7 cm by 5.6 cm in total size.

Incredibly elongated stalactites of
reddish-orange Calcite!
This impressive specimen displays over half a dozen terminated stalactites, measuring to
11 cm in height at the top center! The tips are complete and well rounded and any incomplete
crystals are limited to the back side where the specimen was trimmed from its
host
matrix.
The lower left are reheals. This is one of the finest of these specimens that
I've offered.

This amazing specimen is part of a collection I was consigned just before the

most amazing pieces in my opinion. The surfaces are rounded with a vibrant,

are accented by sparkling crystals of Manganite across the top and red
Rhodochrosite along the back.

This is easily one of the most unique specimens of this material I've ever seen
from the famous
Rush, Arkansas locality. The color is an intense yellow atop the sparkling drusy

The surfaces are amazingly clean and the Sphalerite crystals are a translucent
yellowish brown.

twinned crystal of Micorcline with attached Aquamarines!
This stark white mineral specimen has a lot going on even without the color. The
crystal form is incredibly sharp,
exhibiting textbook twinning amid glassy smooth surfaces. Surrounded by a

there are also Aquamarine crystals and a Quartz in the mix. In excellent

This amazing, museum quality plate is one of the finest Tri-State specimens I've

sit atop a thick Chert host matrix, covered by Dolomite

very well defined crystal faces for the locality, which normally produces more

brilliant Galena cube on Dolomite covered matrix!
This impressive Galena measures nearly 7 cm in width across the corners. I say
cube but it's actually
more of a rectangular in form. The surfaces are highly lustrous and reflective
with some stepping on
the bottom side. It sits atop a matrix covered by small Dolomites and is
bordered along the left edge
by a smaller, but equally lustrous Galena cube. In excellent condition with much
flash and reflectivity.

From a recent find, never seen before in Peru. The thin Barite crystals are super clear
and fully
transparent with sharp edges and a glassy luster. They sit pristinely atop a matrix
covered by reddish-
pink Manganoan Dolomite crystals which also form small pillars or "fingers". In
excellent condition.

I'm not finding as much of this material as I did in years past and this
specimen is the first Barite on Orpiment
combo I can remember offering on the website! It is exceptional in terms of
balance, color, and surface flash.
It's also very clean with very little contacting on the crystals and that tends
to be a problem with many Orpiments.

Unique and bizarre specimen
of a broken brown bottle with Selenite crystal overgrowth!
This is one of the oddest specimens I've seen from the Tsumeb Mine. It's
obviously post-mining as an old glass
bottle was left inside the mine by a miner, broken, and then overgrown by
Selenite crystals which grew over and
around the broken glass, holding the various pieces together. The brown bottle
sits upright by itself and appear to
have been round as the bottom is ringed and mostly intact. The Selenite crystals
are in excellent condition and
exhibit a flashy luster when the specimen is rotated side to side. Very nice and
definately a conversation piece.

Large cabinet plate of forest green
Fluorite crystals appearing as botryoidal surfaces on matrix!
This is a new find that is different than anything else
I've seen from China. The crystals are small and gemmy
with a different shade of green. Under magnification I can see dozens of lustrous, stepped
angular faces but
the crystals all come together to complete the botryoidal, rolling surfaces. This was one
of the prettiest plates
from the new find in China. In excellent condition with an unusual color covered by
rolling luster and flash.

crystals of Native Silver ps Dyscrasite on golden Pyrite crystals!
This aesthetic specimen is the first I've offered on Pyrite. Most examples occur
on Native Arsenic matrix.
The Silver ps Dyscrasite crystals are of a jack-straw nature with concave tips.
The bottom crystal is .8 mm
in width and all exhibit a dark gray, matted surface texture. In great shape
overall and very well trimmed.
