crystal measures to nearly 2 cm in size
and many are around 1 cm and there are dozens of crystals sitting atop this
cabinet sized plate. In excellent
condition.

Rare and visually spectacular
specimen of Native Gold on Quartz matrix!
This incredible specimen is one of the finest and most aesthetic specimens I've
seen from the small
and rather obscure Native Gold discovery at the Olive Grove Prospect which I
have been told was found
during the digging of a water well. This miniature sized specimen displays
highly lustrous, semi-crystalline
layers of richly colored Gold, both front and back, atop a matrix of white
Quartz crystals. Stunning specimen!
Locality: Olive Grove Prospect,
Mariposa County, California.
Measures: 5.7 cm by 4 cm by 1.5 cm in total size.

Superb specimen
featuring wires of Native Silver rising up above Calcite matrix!
Wire Silvers from the Cobalt Area are extremely rare and higher sought after
because they just didn't occur very often.
Most of the Native Silver found was found locked away in rich veins or
surrounding matrix. Every now and then ones finds
a small wire Silver but they are few and far between and the most impressive
examples tend to come from the Keeley-Frontier
Mine. These are usually thin, frilly wires, usually off matrix but they are good
quality wires regardless. To find a specimen the
likes of this one, with its thick, sturdy wire rising up from a white Calcite
matrix is incredible on many levels. This specimen
looks more like a Silver from Norway or Germany than it does from Cobalt.
Crystalline Silver is also draped across the front
of the matrix like decorative ribbons. A tremendous matrix Silver which is
easily on of the finest I've ever seen from Canada.
Locality: Keeley-Frontier Mine, South Lorrain Township,
Cobalt-Gowganda region, Timiskaming District, Ontario, Canada.
Measures: 6.4 cm by 8.2 cm by 4.1 cm in total size.

This is a gorgeous specimen, with a strong luster over unblemished botryoidal
surfaces.
The color is pure pink with reddish undertones and the entire Smithsonite sits
atop a small
bit of matrix with some slight layering. This is a very attractive and flashy
Smithsonite and
specimens of this color and quality have become almost impossible to track down
at the shows.

VERY RARE and
EXQUISITE specimen of Beryl var. Aquamarine framed by Quartz crystals!
Also with Muscovite, this gemmy blue Aquamarine is remarkle not only because it
is absolutely
gorgeous but also because it features an association of large Quartz crystals!
This association is
super rare for Aquas from Nagar and I can count the number of specimen I've seen
on just one
hand. If one does find an Aqua with Quartz combo, the Quartz is usually tiny
micro-crystals or a
fine drusy. These crystals look like they came from Arkansas!! They're super
glassy and clear
with full terminations. The Aquamarine is pristine with a deeper than normal
blue coloration
through gemmy interiors and a perfect textbook habit. The bottom side is
completely rehealed.

Gilgit-Baltistan, Northern Areas of Pakistan.

Incredible
golden Pyrite crystals pseudomorph after a large Clam!
This amazing specimen was once a large clam in what was once a much larger
Belton Lake I assume. It was
discovered in 2017 by road workers during construction on I-35 and I know of no
others of this size so it must
be pretty rare. Approximately 100 million years old and found in Cretaceous
Limestone, this clam is solid Pyrite
and covered with gleaming crystals from top to bottom, font and back. In
excellent condition with only minor
contacting along the top edge on the back side. Texas is not known for its
specimens but this one is amazing.
Locality: Temple, Bell County, Texas.
Measures: 15.2 cm by 17.2 cm by 4.7 cm in total size.

rough host matrix

Neon to
royal blue crystals of Chalcanthite on Hematite matrix!
Super vibrant, translucent crystals of Chalcanthite spring up from the brown

This plate is in excellent condition and the blue crystals are lustrous and
glassy and most
display complete terminations. My best guess would date this specimen back to
the 1980's.

Lovely
combination piece featuring a gemmy Aquamarine with a pink Apatite crystal on
Muscovite!
I love these combos but very rarely do I find a specimen at the shows that fits
the quality I'm looking for.
The Aquamarine crystal has to be gemmy and the Apatite must be complete with
good color. Usually they are
found with broken edges and faded color. This specimen fits all the criteria I
always look for and is the first of
these combos I've offered in years. It's in excellent condition and represents a
rare opportunity for collectors.

INCREDIBLE!
large cabinet sized combintion of a huge Fluorite cube with a large golden
Calcite on Fluorite with Barite on Sphalerite!
This museum quality Elmwood specimen has it all! The largest Fluorite left of
the Calcite measures 11 cm across the corners and displays
perfect faces which are highlighted by clear corners and a glassy luster. The
backside is slightly etched where it descends down to the
shiny Sphalerite base. The large golden Calcite to the right measures 14 cm in
length and is a perfect gemmy twin. There is no chipping
along the tips which exhibit a golden-brown coloration in contrast to the more
yelowish-golden centers. The Calcite sits atop numerous
smaller Fluorite cubes to its left and larger cubes to its right and along the
back side edge. There's even a large isolated Sphalerite
crystal nestled between the Calcite and Fluorites on the back side and accenting
Barite clusters along the lower front edge. All in all,
this specimen has almost everything you could want in a high end Elmwood. In
excellent condition with barely a contact anywhere.
Locality: Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Smith Co., Tennessee.
