Beautiful cabinet plate of green
Tourmaline crystals sitting atop Cleavelandite!
These came out several years ago and the Green Tourmaline crystals vary in both
size
and transparency. The largest Tourmaline is lustrous, well striated, and
translucent with a
perfect termination. It sits atop white Cleavelandite blades, surrounded by
smaller, gemmier
green Tourmalines. In excellent condition with no detractions or visible damage
to speak of.

Excellent example of an Illinois Galena
specimen with surrounding Fluorite crystals!
This is easily one of the best Galena specimens I've seen from Illinois in terms of
balance
and centering of crystals. It's a true work of natural art, with the largest cube in the
middle
measuring 2.7 cm in size across the corners. It's surrounded by well over a dozen lustrous
Galenas and an accenting of small reddish-purple Fluorite crystals. In excellent
condition.
Locality: Minerva No. 1 Mine, Cave-in-Rock Sub-District,
Hardin Co., Illinois.

Gorgeous vug filled with radiating
crystals of transparent blue Hemimorphite!
This is a lovely piece of the rarely seen Hemimorphite from the famous Skorpion
Mine. The matrix vug
is filled with lustrous, gemmy, baby-blue colored radiating clusters of
Hemimorphite on host rock matrix.
The concave structure of the matrix opening has done its job well and protected
the crystals from contacting.
Also, the top Hemimorphite ceiling of the vug is translucent and allows light to
penetrate into the vug interior.
Locality: Skorpion Mine, Rosh Pinah,
Lüderitz District, Karas Region, Namibia.
Measures: 5.7 cm by 9.3 cm by 6.7 cm in total size.

Scarce
specimen of Realgar crystals in cluster with Picropharmacolite!
I can't stress enough how hard it is to find fine Realgar specimens in the
marketplace.
They mostly disappeared over a decade ago and I rarely see them at the shows.
This is
a superb small miniature with deep red Realgar crystals, all of which are in
excellent condition.
White Picropharmacolite sprays can be seen around the periphery and these
provide an aesthetic
contrast between the two minerals. In excellent condition with excellent color
and no scuffing.

Superb specimen of
crystallized Gold var. Electrum specimen!
This entire specimen is composed of crystals in all shapes
and sizes! There are even
some spinel-twins in the mix and thick wires that bend back towards the Quartz
matrix.
The luster is excellent and the color suggests a Silver content of at least 30%
or higher.
I love quality Electrums from Nevada and this is one of the finest I've seen
from the show.
From the Round Mountain Mine, Round Mountain District, Nye
County, Nevada.
Measures 3.1 cm by 2.5 cm by 1.8 cm in total size.

Gemmy crystals of Native Sulfur
from an old Roman locality on the Italian mainland!
These are scarce specimens and a locality I
rarely see available for sale at the shows. The crystals
are beautifully formed and gemmy with smooth lustrous surfaces. With most of
what you see from
Italy being from Sicily, a specimen from this mine would make a great addition
to any collection.

Novafeltria, Rimini Province, Emilia-Romagna, Italy.

Super aethetic
specimen of Native Leaf Silver with Calcite and iridescent Safflorite clusters!
This classic specimen from the old Cobalt Mining District is one of my favorites
from the show. The crystalline
leaf of pure Silver is so brilliant and lustrous as it rises up from a matrix of
Calcite and is framed by the bluish-
purple iridescence of the Safflorite crystals. For me, this specimen is pure eye
candy. It's also displayable from
both sides as the large Silver leaf is perfectly centered atop the middle of the
hard matrix. Flashy and remarkable!
From the Cobalt Mining District, Cobalt-Gowganda Region,
Timiskaming District, Ontario, Canada.
Measures 6.5 cm by 9.2 cm by 6.2 cm in total size.

Amazing
stalactite Cave Calcite from Mexico!
This is one of the largest, most intricate, and most aesthetic Cave Calcite
specimens I've ever seen.
It has been beautifully preserved and protected throughout the years and there
is almost no contacting
on any of the surfaces. From the famous Santa Eulalia District, this centerpiece
displays two distinct
forms of Calcite, one being a fine, elongated scalendohedral shaped crystal with
numerous secondary
crystal points jutting out from the center, and the other a much thicker, golden
colored stalactic shape
structure. The tips and major terminations are all complete and the specimen is
in amazingly good shape!
Locality: Santa Eulalia Mining District, Aquiles Serdán
Municipality, Chihuahua, Mexico.
Measures: 25 cm by 14.4 cm by 10 cm in total size.

Iron-Nickel (IAB) meteorite from
the Campo del Cielo impact!
A large, impressive Meteorite from the epic fall with well formed regmaglypts
and a satiny
lusterous surface! This was one of the finest specimens at the Tucson Show and
is the largest
of the entire collection. It could be displayed well from either side and is
completely covered
with a collection of superb regmaglypt impressions. The form is also excellent
and well balanced.
Special Note: On January 1, 2008 Argentina implemented a new law prohibiting the
exportation
of meteorites. When the available supply on the market is exhausted, obtaining a
specimen
will become extremely difficult. Now is the time to obtain a meteorite for your
collection.
Locality: Campo del Cielo impact at
Formosa, Argentina - discovered in 1576.
Age is approximately 4000 years old.
Measures: 12.4 cm by 14.8 cm by 10.5 cm in total size.

EXCEPTIONAL!! An amazing plate
featuring a huge Apophyllite crystal with Calcite atop green Prehnite!
This is a a specimen the likes of which I've never seen before from Namibia.
Apophyllite is not a common
mineral from this locality but it does appear as small crystals every now and
then. I have never seen an
Apophyllite crystal of this size from the Goboboseb locale and there are no
pictures of anything like this on
mindat.org. The Apophyllite crystal stands upright atop the Prehnite which
display complete, glassy faces
on all sides and measures 3.5 cm in size. It sits next to a 2.6 cm Calcite and
is surrounded by a brilliant
surface of super lustrous Prehnite crystals. I can't stress enough just how rare
this specimen is. It rivals
the Apophyllites one would see from India which is remarkable for Goboboseb! In
excellent condition.
From the Goboboseb Mts, Brandberg Area, Dâures, Erongo
Region, Namibia.
Measures 7.8 cm by 7.7 cm by 12 cm in total size.

Large, lustrous crystal of Acanthite ps after Argentite!
We acquired a collection of this very large, super lustrous Acanthite crystals
while in Denver
and they are quite the sight to see. Most if not all display some hoppering
indicating a very quick
formation as the Acanthite pseudomorphed the higher temperature Argentite.
Exceptional crystal!
From Fresnillo de
Gonzalez Echeverria (Fresnillo), Mun. de Fresnillo, Zacatecas, Mexico.
Measures 2.5 cm by 3.1 cm by 2 cm in total size.
