Exceptional
and unique large plate of Native Silver wires with round Calcites on matrix!
This is one of the most incredible Silver specimens I've ever had the privilege
of owning and offering on the website!
It is essentially an entire pocket of Silver wires in situ. It was the gift of
the mining executive of a Chinese Silver mine
and has not been altered in any way. It is completely original and has not been
cleaned or changed in any way. It is a
a true museum piece and has been the centerpiece of my Silvers since Tucson 2020
and is only now making its first
appearance. Dozens of wires cover the surface of the matrix and are accented by
round ball-like Calcites. To find a
specimen of Silver this large that has not been trimmed into smaller pieces or
crushed and smelted in absolutely
amazing. This is a very rare opportunity to acquire an entire pocket of Silver
in the very same way it was found.
Locality: Hongda Mine, Xiaoqinggou Ag-Mn deposit, Lingqiu
County, Datong, Shanxi, China.
Measures: 11.3 cm by 15.7 cm by 12.5 cm in total size.

Classic old
combination of
Tourmaline var. Rubellite with Spodumene crystals and Lepidolite on matrix!
An incredible mix of colors on this fine classic specimen from the Stewart Mine.
The largest Rubellite
crystal, one of three on the specimen, measures 3 cm in size and displays a
perfect termination. The
second, verticle crystal measures 2 cm while the Rubellite crystal on the back
side measures 1.4 cm.
Glassy crystals of Spodumene sit perched to the right of the Rubellites,
completely doubly terminated
and flashy. One of the finest small cab combos I've seen from Pala in years. In
excellent condition.
Dug by famed collector Ed Swoboda who later donated it to the Los Angeles
Natural History Museum.
Locality:
Stewart Mine, Tourmaline Queen
Mountain, Pala, Pala District, San Diego Co., California.

Exceptional combination specimen of
greenish-golden Topaz crystals with Amazonite together on Smoky Quartz!
This is an amazing specimen, the likes of which I have never seen before.
Nothing of this calibre is listed on mindat.org
and I know of no other Namibian Topaz specimens in combination with Amazonite
that feature crystals of this size! The
largest Topaz at top measures 5.5 cm in size. It sits atop an Amazonite to its
right and a large, terminated Smoky Quartz
crystal to its left. Left of the Smoky is a beautifully formed Amazonite crystal
that offers the perfect companion for the
Topaz in regards to size matching and positioning on the matrix. This is a MAJOR
specimen and is easily the finest of
this variety that I've ever offered from Namibia. A second Topaz is located near
the bottom. In excellent condition.
Locality: Klein Spitzkopje granite
stock, Spitzkopje Area, Karibib, Erongo Region, Namibia.
Measures: 11.5 cm by 13.8 cm by 8.4 cm in total size.

Gorgeous specimen of rich Cadmium yellow Smithsonite
covering a lighter yellow layer of Smithsonite underneath!
This lustrous, botryoidal Smithsonite is one of the most unique examples I've
seen from the recent find in Wei Nan,
an obscure locality in China. In excellent condition with no scuffing and a
spectacular display, the two-toned yellow
color is thought to be due to Cadmium content, as with yellow Smithsonite from
Tsumeb, Italy, and Mexico. The color
is intense and the two distinct layers contrast beautifully, imparting an
aesthetical quality that will be hard to match.

Exceptional specimen featuring dozens of
fine Silver dendrites on Quartz matrix!
This is one of the most impressive San Genaro Silvers I've seen in years and it is
literally
covered with Silver crystals, spinel-twins, and feather-like dendrites across the entire
surface.
The crystals are sharp and lustrous with a golden-brown antique patina. The specimen is
quite
heavy due to its coverage and the Quartz matrix is heavily filled with small Acanthite
crystals.
From the San Genaro Mine, Castrovirreyna Dist.,
Castrovirreyna Prov., Huancavelica Dept., Peru.
Measures 4.5 cm by 8.2 cm by 5.4 cm in total size.

Dramatic, elongated
blue sprays of
sparkling Linarite with green Brochantite on Quartz matrix!
A specimen that is both incredibly aesthetic and colorful, the Linarite
branches out across the
Quartz matrix from right to left. The contrast between the Linarite and
matrix is spectacular.
This is one of the most dramatic Linarites I've seen in years. I'm very
tempted to keep it myself.

Exceptional
and incredibly large Acanthite crystals on white Quartz from Cobalt!
This is a superb Acanthite
for any Canadian locality, let alone from the Cobalt mines where few large
specimens were ever
found or actually preserved. It is dramatic and well crystallized, with several
habits present on the specimen. The length of the
Acanthite crystals far surpass any Acanthite specimen I know of from the
Cobalt Mining District, including what I've seen
on display in museums. The crystals rise up from a base of white Quartz where
they appear almost leafy, conjoining in the
middle, and rising to an incredible height of nearly 10 cm! They are covered by
a silky-smooth luster, both front and back.
This specimen could easily be the centerpiece of any fine Silver or Cobalt
collection. It is on another level of magnificence.
Locality: Keeley-Frontier Mine, South Lorrain Township,
Cobalt-Gowganda region, Timiskaming District, Ontario, Canada.
Measures: 11 cm by 7.1 cm by 2.3 cm in total size.

Gorgeous Large, gemmy crystals of
Quartz var. Amethyst crystals artistically perched atop sparkling Quartz matrix!
A dramatic cabinet sized specimen, the Amethyst crystals are fully
transparent with a gorgeous internal glow.
They sit atop a rocky, white Quartz covered matrix and the visual impact
between the two is stunning. The
Amethyst crystals are well isolated and I was immediately attracted to the aesthetics of this
fine specimen.

An outstanding, sculptural cabinet sized specimen of
Hematite "kidney ore" from this obscure New Mexico district.
The aesthetic cluster of larger, lustrous, banded bubbly botryoids is accented
by the small lustrous "blackberry" at
one end. The rounded surfaces are brilliantly lustrous with some reddish
accents. This plate compares favorably
with the best specimens from the famous 1800s -1900s Iron ore deposits of
Cumbria, England. In excellent condition.

Brilliant, gemmy
crystals of light blue Topaz and dark Smoky Quartz on matrix!
An impressive specimen featuring numerous gemmy Topaz crystals measuring to 3.5
cm in size. The crystals are sharply
terminated and display highly glassy surfaces over transparent interiors. The
contrast between the Topaz crystals and dark
Smoky points makes for an incredible contrast. In great condition with only a
slight bump on the back side of the top Smoky tip.

Rare and
aesthetic
specimen of Native Lead on Mica!
Native Lead in any form is a very rare native element. This specimen,

aesthetic sheet situated atop Epidotic matrix and Mica. The Native Lead
sheet curls upwards, displaying
its fine greyish color. This is a classic Swedish locality, not be confused
with the better known Långban.

Rare and very
beautiful combination of silverish-gray Calcite crystals with golden Pyrite
pyritohedrons!
This Calcite specimen is from a very small collection of Colombian Calcites
which were actually saved from destruction
due to their quality and aesthetics. Most Calcites from this locale are
destroyed during the mining process for prized
Emerald crystals and very few survive. This one is in excellent condition with
dozens of lustrous, translucent Calcites
and over a dozen mirror-brilliant Pyrite crystals. The Pyrites measures to 3 cm
in size and are blindingly reflective.

Gorgeous combination
of Beryl var. Aquamarine on Albite with Quartz and Muscovite!
This spectacular combination specimen is breathtaking, featuring a perfect
horizontal and doubly
terminated 4 cm Aquamarine crystal laying atop Albite and Muscovite as a
perfectly terminated Quartz
point rises vertically in the background. Mineral presentations don't get much
better than this. The Aqua
is gemmy with a sky-blue coloration which contrasts beautifully with the silver
Muscovite and white Albite
which surround it on all sides. In excellent condition with no contacting or
detractions. A fine centerpiece.

A stunning cluster of Copper crystals with a super

the prettiest patinas I've seen in a long time on a Michigan Copper specimen.

Classic specimen featuring Quartz
var. Amethyst crystals perched atop brown dogtooth Calcites!
These specimens are old material, mined decades ago in the 1960s -1970s. Rarely
do Amethyst on Calcite
specimens appear in the marketplace these days and this specimen is from an
older collection. The Amethyst
crystal cluster measures 8 cm in size and is composed of gemmy, glassy,
perfectly terminated crystals. The
tips of the brown Calcites are all complete and the surfaces are super lustrous
atop the sparkling matrix.

Very rare
combination specimen
of Calcite on Goethite on Hematite!
This is a rare combination specimen from the old Hiawatha No. 1 Mine which
began operations
in 1893. Calcite is rarely found in association with Goethite and Hematite
and this specimen is
both scarce and historical. I love the outer radial banding of the
botryoidal Hematite. Spectacular!
