Incredible crystalline ball cluster of Calcites on Pyrite covered matrix with other Calcites!
This
is the first Calcite from Hungary of this size that I've seen and it is a complete crystalline ball, measuring
8.7 cm by 8.5 cm in size sitting atop a Pyrite accented matrix and other larger Calcite crystals near the base.
The Calcite crystals that form the ball and cover the bottom are all incredibly shiny surfaced with a glassy
luster over translucent to transparent interiors. Pyrite crystals and orangish Hematite accenting add color to
the otherwise colorless Calcites. In excellent condition with no detractions and great eye appeal & aesthetics!

From Károlytáró, Gyöngyösoroszi, Mátra Mts, Heves Co., Hungary.
Measures
13.7 cm by 10.3 cm by 8.6 cm in total size.

Very rich nest of Native Silver wires on matrix from Cobalt!
Silver wires are very rare from the Cobalt Mining Area as most Silver was found in rich veins
throughout the district. This sweet little specimen displays one of the richest nest of wires I've seen
from Cobalt and they sit perfectly atop the greenish matrix. Would make a great competition piece.
From the Nipissing Mine, Coleman Township, Cobalt area, Cobalt-Gowganda region, Timiskaming District, Ontario, Canada.
Measures 3.3 cm by 2.1 cm by 1.8 cm in total size.

MIN#TUCSON2018-104 NEW!

Breathtaking cabinet plate of purple Fluorite with spectacular blades of white Barite!
This specimen undoubtedly is from the incredible Berbes finds in the early 2000's. Most
of these dried up and disappeared from the market in recent years but then I discovered
this fine plate in Tucson and was amazed at the incredible aesthetics and overall condition
of the large upright Barite blades! The cream-colored blades are intact and undamaged
and that's a very rare thing to find. The Fluorite is a gemmy light purple and very glassy!
From La Cabańa, Berbes Mining area, Ribadesella, Asturias, Spain.
Measures 10.5 cm by 9.6 cm by 5.9 cm in total size.

Cabinet sized specimen of Fishtail Selenite crystals!
An awesome display specimen, I rarely see these twinned Selenite crystals anymore and specimens of
this condition without damage and or major scuffing are extremely hard to find!
The largest fishtail twin
at the top measures 9 cm in height and 8 cm in width. It's surrounded by a smaller twin on the front and
untwinned Selenite crystals on the side and back. All sit aesthetically atop a hard white stone matrix.
From the Gibraltar Mine, Chihuahua, Mexico.
Measures 13 cm by 10.8 cm by 14.7 cm in total size.

MIN#TUCSON2018-110 NEW!

Aesthetic combination specimen of Malachite with smoky Cerussite crystals!
I think I also see a little bit of Duftite in the mix. The Cerussite crystals are isolated
on the matrix which is always nice and their smoky interiors are highlighted by very glassy
faces. There are some tiny bumps here and there and the usual contacting along the trimming edge
but most are complete and in excellent shape. The Malachite appears mainly as a mound at the top
and there are doubly terminated Cerussite crystals sitting atop and all the around the Malachite base.

From the Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Otjikoto Region, Namibia.
Measures 6.5 cm by 6.4 cm by 4.1 cm in total size.

Glassy crystals of Calcite with phantoms and  irridescent crystals of Chalcopyrite!
The intensity of the green, blue, and gold iridescence in combination with the incredible flash and luster of the
Calcites make these some of the most popular specimens from the Sweetwater locality. In excellent condition.
From the Sweetwater Mine, Ellington, Viburnum Trend District, Reynolds Co., Missouri.

MIN#TUCSON2018-113 NEW!

Fine iridescent crystal blades of Covellite in drusy covered matrix pockets!
A beautiful specimen from Colorado displaying some of the sharpest Covellite blades you will
ever see! The color ranges from midnight blue to purple and I can't find a single negative thing
to say about this fine specimen. Considering that most Summitville Covellites are unattatractive,
thick clusters, I much prefer the individual blades and acquire every example I can find. No damage.
From the Reynolds Tunnel, Summitville Mine, Summitville District, Rio Grande Co., Colorado.
Measures 7.4 cm by 5.4 cm by 5.7 cm in total size.

Colorful mix of Malachite spherules with crystalline Azurite balls on Goethite!
I love these old Arizona classics from the Clifton-Morenci area. The small green Malachite balls
are smooth and satiny in texture. They contrast beautifully with the crystalline blue Azurite balls
which cover the dark surface from top to bottom. In excellent condition for the age with no damage.
From the Morenci Mine, Morenci, Clifton-Morenci District, Shannon Mts., Greenlee Co., Arizona.
Measures 5.3 cm by 4.8 cm by 3.9 cm in total size.

Lovely plate of gemmy Green Fluorite cubes atop white Quartz covered Fluorite!
An excellent example with glassy-lustrous, modified crystals climbing aesthetically atop Quartz accented
Fluorites. These smaller crystals serve as the base for the larger water-clear green Fluorite cubes above.

MIN#TUCSON2018-117 NEW!

Aesthetic specimen featuring Orange Calcite and Quartz crystals accented by white micro-clusters!
The Calcite crystal sitting atop the left side of the Quartz measures 5 cm in size. It is epimorphic in structure and
hollow with a natural opening on the back side. I'm not sure what the white clusters are but they add a nice contrast.
From the Droujba Mine, Djurkovo Complex, Laki (Luki), Laki Obshtina, Rhodope Mts, Plovdiv Oblast, Bulgaria.
Measures 6.5 cm by 5.9 cm by 3.2 cm in total size.

Pretty mix of reddish-orange Spessartine Garnets with Smoky Quartz crystals and white Albite!
This is one of my favorite combinations and the intensity of the Garnet color on this specimen is better
than what I normally see. These came out last decade for the most part and have become much more
difficult to find in the marketplace. This specimen is in excellent condition with no detractions to speak of.
From the Wushan Spessartine Mine, Tongbei, Yunxiao Co., Zhangzhou Prefecture, Fujian Province, China.
Measures 7.5 cm by 7.8 cm by 5.5 cm in total size.

MIN#TUCSON2018-120 NEW!

Spectacular specimen featuring two large brown Barites with pinkish Kutnohorite sprays!
A wonderful combination from a scarcer locality. The Montreal Mine is an iron Mine but it produces
a wide variety of mineral specimens. This is first Barite I've seen with Kutnohorite crystals and the
aesthetics are excellent. The Barites in the middle display natural crevices which actually have small
Kutnohorite crystals growing inside. The Kutnohorite crystals are a pinkish color and they are mostly
translucent with a resinous luster. In excellent condition with what appears to be Marcasite crystal balls.

From the Montreal Mine, Montreal, Gogebic Range, Iron County, Wisconsin.
Measures 6.2 cm by 9.2 cm by 5.5 cm in total size.
