Superb specimen of Acanthite crystals with Native Silver wires!
These grey Acanthite crystals are very sharp and distinct with a 3 cm crystal face at
the top followed by slightly smaller crystals in descending order. Each crystal face is
accenting by fine wires of lustrous Native Silver
which dart in and out of tiny recesses
within the Acanthites. The wires vary in thickness but not in brilliance.

Glassy crystal of brownish-orange Zircon perched on matrix!
Here's another Australian beauty for you to consider! The Zircon measures 2.2 cm in size

formed due to matrix influence. There is no damage however and several smaller xls are present.

MIN#Tucson2013-49 New!

Richly covered specimen featuring light blue Topaz crystals with Smoky Quartz on matrix!
Covered from top to bottom with Topaz, this is one of the finest Russian Topaz specimens
I've seen in quite some time. The largest crystal at top measures 3 cm in length and is
doubly terminated! Dozens of other Topaz crystals cover the gaps between the dark smoky
Quartz crystals. Some light orangish coloration, probably from Hematite, is also present.

MIN#Tucson2013-52 New!

Dazzling cluster of Danburite crystals covered with sparkling Quartz var. Citrine drusy!
These unique Danburite combo specimens appeared about five shows back and have always been
one of my favorites. The Citrine is a deep orange and nearly covered the Danburite crystals from
top to bottom. The specimen sparkles so much that it almost appears to shimmer. In excellent
condition with full terminations except for one Danburite crystal on the backside out of view.

MIN#Tucson2013-53 New!

Stunning cabinet plate of sparkling green Prehnite pseudo after large Calcite crystals!
One of the most impressive pseudomorphs I've seen in a long time! The Calcites are quite
large, with the largest measuring 11.5 cm in width, and I don't detect any damage or contacts
anywhere! On the backside of the largest Calcite pseudo, there is a small opening in the Prehnite
and a glossy portion of the Calcite crystal being pseudomorphed is visible.
The surfaces of each
crystal and the botryoidal Prehnite covering the matrix are very bright and full of sparkling flash.
Circa early 1980's - From Kandivali Quarry, Malad, Mumbai, Mumbai District, Maharashtra, India.
Measures 8 cm by 17.2 cm by 13.2 cm in total size.

MIN#Tucson2013-54 New!

Impressive combo featuring sharp crystals of Polybasite with Acanthite and Calcite!
The photo above illustrates the combo perfectly. The Polybasite sits beautifully next to the
Acanthite crystal with only white Calcite crystals between the two. Both are super sharp and
highly lustrous with the Polybasite measuring at 1.7 cm and the Acanthite 1.5 cm.
Smaller
crystals of mostly Acanthite encircle the specimen. I can't find any damage to speak of.

MIN#Tucson2013-55 New!

Unbelievable Native Silver featuring a thick upright wire on dark matrix!
This wire is incredible! It measures 4 cm in size and 1.4 cm in width and is actually a huge spinel
twin crystal in the guise of a wire. It is surrounded by other, more typical Native Silver wires and
all are well striated and covered with a lovely golden-brown antiquish patina. This is one of the most
unique Peruvian Silver specimens I've seen in years and there was nothing else like it at the show.
From the Uchucchacua Mine, Oyon Province, Lima Department, Peru.
Measures 7 cm by 6.8 cm by 6.5 cm in total size.

LARGE CABINET specimen of Native Silver in metallic matrix with Safflorrite!
This specimen is very heavy and incredibly rich. It could have easily been part of the famous "Silver Sidewalk" considering
the size of the Silver seam but fortunately it was preserved for posterity as a specimen. A large seam of gleaming Native
Silver can be seen extending down the top half of the matrix and popping out of the narrow openings along the bottom half.
A sparkling coating of Safflorite is visible atop the bottom portion, forming roundish clusters alongside the Silver. The
matrix is a grey metallic mass that appears to be Arsenopyrite with possibly some Galena and Nickeline in the mix.
This is a classic specimen of Silver from a classic mining locality that dates back to the early 1900's. It's also one of the
most impressive Cobalt specimens I've seen to date and definately the heaviest. It could be trimmed but I like it as is.
From the Langis Mine, Casey Township, Cobalt Area, Cobalt-Gowganda region, Timiskaming District, Ontario, Canada.
Circa 1910-1920's. Measures 24.5 cm by 10 cm by 8.3 cm in total size.

MIN#Tucson2013-60 New!

Large cabinet specimen of Barite cluster balls on Sphalerite with Fluorite!
This is one big specimen! It sits upright and makes a centerpiece on any table or in any case.
The Barite balls number four in total with the largest measuring nearly 10 cm across! The others
range from 7 cm to 8 cm in size. On the left side of the uppermost Barite ball is a purple Fluorite
measuring 5 cm corner to corner. A second 3 cm Fluorite can be seen tucked between the two
lower Barite clusters. All of these sit atop a surface of very lustrous Sphalerite and the flash
of this specimen is incredible. If you love big, heavy, showy specimens, then this one is for you.
