Exceptional combination of Aquamarine with a large
reddish-pink Fluorite on Muscovite!
I almost never see quality Aqua-Fluorites from Pakistan on the market anymore.
The really
good Fluorites came out years ago and have long since disappeared into private
collections.
I was thrilled to see this piece at the Show and the combination of Aquamarine
and Fluorite,
both exhibiting strong color, is rare. The Fluorites measures right at 3.3 cm in
size and has
a rich color to go along with the typical irregular and modified surfaces. It
sits atop the right
side, separated by and equally well colored Aquaamrine crystal by an Aquamarine
covered
ridge of Muscovite. The Aquamarine is rehealed along the bottom and the piece is
pristine.

Gemmy green octahedrons of
Fluorite surrounded by Quartz crystals and drusy accenting!
An incredible cabinet plate that is stunning to look at.
The green Fluorite is an intense, deep green,
closely along the lines of an emerald-green. The crystals are very glassy and
lustrous and all are
octahedral in habit. The largest along the upper left edge measures nearly 5 cm
in size! In excellent
condition with barely a contact. A sparkling, sugary drusy of Quartz and
crystals frames the piece.
From Riemvasmaak, Kakamas District,
Northern Cape Province, South Africa.
Measures 12 cm by 12 cm by 3.8 cm in total size.
