Bright yellow crystals of Sulfur
set atop Aragonite matrix!
A brilliant specimen in all respects, this cabinet sized plate is covered with
lustrous Sulfur crystals,
the largest of which measures 3.6 cm in length! The crystals are translucent and
gemmy with some
excellent isolation on the matrix. The Aragonite is a thick and quite study
matrix which is concave
in some areas. This provides a stark background for the brilliant yellow Sulfur
crystals. In excellent
condition with barely a contact to be found. This is one of the finest
Sulfur-Aragonites from the show.
Locality: Cianciana, Agrigento Province (Girgenti
Province), Sicily, Italy.
Measures: 11 cm by 15.5 cm by 6.3 in total size.

Incredible specimen
featuring two grape-jelly Quartz var. Amethyst crystals sitting inside a
Calcite lined matrix vug!
Perfectly terminated and very gemmy-clear, the largest crystal displays a
beautiful interior phantom. The Amethysts
are perched upright behind stacked Calcite crystals and in the foreground of a
Calcite lined matrix vug which almost
appears to be a geode. The Calcites are coated with a white mineral which makes
the color contrast jump off the screen.
By the way, the back of the vug opens up to a small hole. I could imagine
placing a light there to illuminate the interior.

Goboboseb Mts, Brandberg
Area, Erongo Region, Namibia.
Measures: 12 cm by 10.4 cm by 9.7 cm in total size.

Super lustrous
and quite unique specimen of Smithsonite with orange caps!
I call this specimen tri-colored because you have three distinct layers of growth and
coloration
displayed here. The first is a powder-blue layer which covers the underlying matrix. The
second
is a more lustrous white layer. The third and final layer is a very lustrous orange
colored Cadmium
Smithsonite which appears as a top cap draped over the lower two layers. The end result is
one of
the most unique looking and interesting specimens of Smithsonite that I've seen in recent
years.
Locality:
El Refugio Mine, Choix, Sinaloa, Mexico.
Measures:
12 cm by 4.4 cm by 6.8 cm in total size.

Rare!
Lustrous and very well defined
Azurite crystal clusters perched atop Malachite matrix!
Aesthetic specimen with three large crystalline balls of Azurite sitting atop
the clay matrix. Each
is composed of dozens if not hundreds of sharp crystals and crystal faces. Very
reflective and dazzling
with great depth and 3-dimensionality. In excellent condition, this is one of
the finest examples I've seen.
Matrix specimens of this size and quality are very rare as most Azurite clusters
are found off matrix.
