Gorgeous combination
of Beryl var. Aquamarine on Albite with Quartz and Muscovite!
This spectacular combination specimen is breathtaking, featuring a perfect
horizontal and doubly
terminated 4 cm Aquamarine crystal laying atop Albite and Muscovite as a
perfectly terminated Quartz
point rises vertically in the background. Mineral presentations don't get much
better than this. The Aqua
is gemmy with a sky-blue coloration which contrasts beautifully with the silver
Muscovite and white Albite
which surround it on all sides. In excellent condition with no contacting or
detractions. A fine centerpiece.

Gilgit-Baltistan, Northern Areas of Pakistan.
Measures 11.5 cm by 8.5 cm by 8.8 cm in total size.

Exceptional
specimen featuring sharp,
lustrous
crystals of Native Copper!
A stunning cluster of Copper crystals with a super
shiny surface and lustrous
faces. There's a combination of Quartz, Calcite, and Epidote accenting between
and atop several of the well formed crystals. No damage to speak of and one of
the prettiest patinas I've seen in a long time on a Michigan Copper specimen.

County, Michigan.
Circa late 1890's - Measures 6.5 cm by 4.1 cm by 3.2 cm in size.

Dazzling specimen featuring iridescent Chalcopyrite on Calcite crystals!
This is a fine specimen of white scalenohedral Calcites in cluster with a
heavy coating
of Chalcopyrite atop the vertical faces. The Chalcopyrite shifts to a
rainbow colored
iridescence along the right side and this really sets off the color
contrast. Very nice!

China.

Super rare combination of Lazurite crystals with
Tourmaline on Marble matrix!
I can't recall seeing a Lazurite specimen with Tourmaline before and this
very sharp 2 cm crystal sits high atop the horizontal
bluish-green Tourmaline at the base. A second, smaller Lazurite crystal can
be seen in the foreground atop the white Marble matrix.

Ruby Jack crystals accent the larger Sphalerites in the center and along the outer edges.

Classic specimen featuring Quartz
var. Amethyst crystals perched atop brown dogtooth Calcites!
These specimens are old material, mined decades ago in the 1960s -1970s. Rarely
do Amethyst on Calcite
specimens appear in the marketplace these days and this specimen is from an
older collection. The Amethyst
crystal cluster measures 8 cm in size and is composed of gemmy, glassy,
perfectly terminated crystals. The
tips of the brown Calcites are all complete and the surfaces are super lustrous
atop the sparkling matrix.
From Cerro De La Concordia, Piedra Parada (Piedras Parado),

Large cabinet plate of vibrant purple
Fluorite with Barite blades in cluster!
These purple cubes are pure gems with internal
phantoming and transparency all the way
down to the matrix! They sit atop a sparkling matrix of Quartz and provide a wonderful
color contrast for the creamy white Barite blade clusters. In very good condition overall.

Unique specimen of bluish-green Smithsonite!
Smithsonite comes in all shapes and sizes and this
one grew into what resembles a triangular
crystal habit. Looking underneath reveals that the specimen is solid Smithsonite with one
layer
tightly bound to another layer and there doesn't appear to be much in the way of host
matrix.
Is this specimen a pseudomorph of some kind or just a freak of nature? My guess would be
with the second option but anything is possible. The color is a lovely bluish-green or sea
green
and the pristine surfaces are covered with a brilliant luster atop the rolling botryoidal
growth.

Beautifully
aesthetic crystals of yellow Calcite atop blue Fluorite!
This is a true lovely from the famous Illinois Fluorspar mines. These
glassy-lustrous Calcites measure
up to nearly 3 cm in length and all are complete with gemmy golden tips. The
Calcite crystals rise up from
a base of blue and lavender Fluorite. Virtually pristine and one of my favorite
Illinois pieces from the show.

Creek Sub-District, Hardin Co., Illinois.

Rosy-pink crystals of Cobaltian
Smithsonite on matrix!
The dozens of translucent pink crystals and crystal faces create a flashy

trimming and bottom. The crystals are quite large and distinct and average 1 cm
to 1.2 cm in size.
A lovely arrangement of large isolated pink Smithsonite crystals are located
along the back side.

Very rare
combination specimen
of Calcite on Goethite on Hematite!
This is a rare combination specimen from the old Hiawatha No. 1 Mine which
began operations
in 1893. Calcite is rarely found in association with Goethite and Hematite
and this specimen is
both scarce and historical. I love the outer radial banding of the
botryoidal Hematite. Spectacular!

Michigan.

Classic old time Colorado mix of
Galena cubes with tan Siderite on Sphalerite matrix!
One of the best combo specimens I've found in a long time
from the Eagle Mine in the Gilman
Mining District, Eagle County, Colorado. The Siderite crystals are sharp and
distinct with no
damage to speak of. The Galena cubes are matted but some have mirror-like faces
as well.

Exceptional
large cabinet specimen of crystalline Native Copper dendrites with Cuprite
crystals!
This is an incredible display piece, displaying brilliant, lustrous Native
Copper and Cuprites on both sides, making
this a true 360 degree centerpiece. The entire plate is crystalline Copper from
top to bottom with incredibly sharp
dendritic formations. Sitting atop the Copper crystals are dark red Cuprite
crystals, flattened and large in nature,
indicating that the entire specimen crystallized inside a narrow matrix seam.
Very attractive with a gorgeous patina.

Very impressive
specimen featuring large Galena octahedrons on Quartz from Colorado!
I don't think I've seen a specimen with larger crystals from this locality outside of a
museum.
The largest modified Galena crystal measures 6 cm in size and the others are of a similar
size.
This would rate as one of the most impressive Colorado Galena specimens I've ever come
across.

Colorado.

Glassy crystals of golden-yellow
Calcite atop matrix from Illinois!
This is a high quality plate featuring the most gemmy, transparent Calcites I've
ever seen from the Gaskins Mine.
The Gaskins Mine is a rarer locality for Fluorite and Calcite. These crystals
are gemmy all the way to the matrix
and are very lustrous with sharp crystal faces and reflectivity. The largest
Calcite in the center measures 4.5 cm
in size and the specimen is in excellent condition with barely a contact
anywhere. It also stands upright by itself.
From the Gaskins Mine, Empire Sub-District, Pope County,
Illinois.
Measures 8.2 cm by 9.2 cm by 6 cm in total size.

Lovely and quite
sculptural cluster of Native Copper wires atop Malachite covered Native Copper!
This is about as good as Copper wires get
from the White Pine Mine in Michigan, which closed in 1995.
The wires are firm and stable as they twist and wind around one another, forming
a wire cluster that stretches
upwards atop the greenish Malachite covered Copper which serves as a base below.
Very unique and aesthetic!
From the White Pine Mine, White Pine, Ontonagon Co.,
Michigan.
Measures 11.2 cm by 4.3 cm by 1.2 cm in total size.
