Spectacular
specimen of crystalline Native Gold rising up atop a base of white Quartz!
This is one beautiful specimen of Native Gold - definately
one of the finest from the show.
It measures over 9 cm in height so it's small cabinet in size and I can't stress
enough just how
incredibly bright and flashy the crystalline structure is, top to bottom! Dozens
and dozens of
flattened trigons are mixed with octahedrons, forming an arborescent structure
of golden
dendrites. Near the very bottom the gold becomes more semi-crystalline as seams
of Native
Gold pop in and out of the white Quartz matrix in this area. The contrast
between the brilliant
Gold crystals and Quartz is gorgeous and the entire specimen is covered with an
intense luster.

VERY
RARE combination of crystals of
Rhodochrosite with Fluorite, Pyrite, Acanthite, and Wire Silver!
I think I've seen less than half a dozen of these very rare combination
specimens and this one really caught my eye!
As is typical in these combos, the Rhodos aren't perfect and exhibit some stress
fracturing but still provide a beautiful
contrast for the clusters of stacked Acanthite crystals! The Acanthites cover
the bottom portion of the specimen and
give rise to the curling Native Silver wires, including the largest wire on the
right side. One of my favorites from the show.

Gorgeous
large bi-colored Fluorite with Calcaite crystals and Quartz crystals!
A huge
color-zoned Fluorite cuboctahedron sits aesthetically and perfectly atop a
Quartz surface covered by golden tipped Calcite crystals,
many of which are doubly terminated, from the famous Shangbao Mine. The
beautiful, gemmy and very glassy, mint-green Fluorite measures a
full 8 cm in size! it displays numerous lustrous, mint green stepped-growth
faces which surround a purplish inned core. Single and doubly terminate
Calcite scalenohedrons are attractively isolated atop the Quartz crystal covered
matrix. Both the Fluorite and Calcite fluoresce. In excellent condition.

The Gold appears as higly lustrous leaves which emerge from white Quartz and

Lustrous, old classic specimen of
deep blue to bluish purple blades of Covellite stacked in cluster on matrix!
This is the finest Summitville Covellite that I've ever seen or offered on the
website. Look at the incredible color of
those blades.
Vibrant and very lustrous blades of dark blue with purple accenting are stacked
one atop the other and form a large plate of pure
Covellite that is amazingly large enough to display as a centerpiece! Luster rolls
atop the surfaces and reflects light
when rotated.
These large blade clusters are mostly free standing and point towards the
viewer. There is no coating and there are no detractions.

Gorgeous
reddish-pink Fluorite sitting atop Pyrite and Galena crystals!
From the recent finds in Peru
(January 2010), this is an impressive specimen of Pink Fluorite perched between
lustrous Pyrite on one side,
and brilliant Galena on the other side. The contrasts are striking - I have
never seen such a nice combination, with both species side-by-side
flanking the large Fluorite. The Pyrite is in the form of small crystals,
while the Galenas are bigger crystals with a strange waxy lustre and
almost silky in appearance. The aesthetics are off the charts! The Pink Fluorite
measures nearly 5 cm across its bottom edge, so this is a
sizable and significant piece. It is pristine as well. This was one of the most
interesting pieces among them of the entire pocket discovery.

Definately one of the most unique and aesthetic Brucite specimens I've ever
seen! The rounded Brucite crystals

matrix of sparkling Brucite below.

plate of gemmy purple Fluorite with Barite and a large Quartz crystal at top!
I can't remember the last time I had such a beautiful Spanish Fluorite combo
specimen to offer on the
website. The Fluorite cubes are glassy and gemmy with a glowing purple
coloration. They sit atop a Quartz
matrix with drusy on the back side. Cream barite blades are scattered atop the
front and at top sits an amazing
doubly terminated Quartz crystal measuring 6 cm in size. In excellent condition

Lustrous specimen featuring crystals of Native Silver and Acanthite crystals
with Silver dendrites on Calcite!
This specimen has so much going on and under magnification it is a sight to
see. Slightly rounded crystals of
Silver are mixed with fine dendrites and gray Acanthites on both the front
and back sides of the Calcite matrix.
Some of the sharper Silver crystals exhibit mirror-bright faces which adds
brilliance to an otherwise mostly
lustrous specimen. In excellent condition, this fine specimen could easily
be displayed from either side.

Raspberryish Fluorite with Calcite crystals from Greece!
I don't see many Fluorites from this locality and this one was especially
attractive with its
association of white Calcite crystals. The color tends to get deeper along
the corners and the
cubes are in excellent shape with glassy faces and good gemminess
throughout. Very nice!

Brilliant Sulfur and
Celestine crystals on Aragonite matrix from Tuscany!
This is a gorgeous specimen with gemmy Sulfur crystals sitting atop the
white Aragonite matrix.
The crystals are sharp and complete with few contacts and a fine, satiny
luster, measuring to 2 cm
in size. This Italian locality is much rarer than Sulfurs from Sicily and
this is the first I've offered.

Very rare
Tri-State combination of Galena, Sphalerite, Marcasite and Selenite!
The Selenite is obviously the main attraction here and it stands atop the
right top edge of
the Galena cluster, surrounded by ruby-jack colored Sphalerite crystals. A
peppering of
fine greenish-bronze Marcasite crystals accents the mirror-like surfaces of
the Galena.
I can count the number of Tri-State Selenite specimens I've seen on just one
hand and this
transparent crystal displays beautifully atop a combination of more familiar
Tri-State minerals.

a desert climate form with translucent surfaces.

Fine
specimen of Native Wire Silver atop a matrix of massive Silver!
This aesthetic specimen is from the obscure Shaft #66 in Schlema. I'm
told that this shaft is
actually located near the center of town and that specimens from there are
quite rare. The wires rise
up from a matrix that is mostly massive Silver and thin wires intertwined
with small bits of Calcite.
The wires that stand upwards are more like knarled ropes and they are all
very stable. There has
been some professional stablization done to add additional strength to the
wires. In excellent shape.

This is a rare locality that is beginning to make its way to the
marketplace. The Wulfenites

Wow! This specimen speaks for itself. From the Ross Lillie collection, this
amazing Barite on Fluorite
would probably have to rate as the best I've seen in this size range. The Barite

yellow coloration and numerous tabs surrounding the main tab which measures 3.4
cm in size. They sit
atop a matrix which is covered by gemmy lavender Fluorite cubes for a
presentation that is stunning.

This is a Sweet Home Mine specimen and only the second of which I've seen
with Malachite
and the first with Fluorite and Malachite. Malachite and possibly
Chrysocolla cover the right
side of this great looking specimen. The Pyrite cubes are super lustrous and
the Sphalerite
crystals are very well formed. Sphalerite is another mineral not often seen
on Sweet Home
specimens. The lavender Fluorite cubes atop the Quartz needles adds the
perfect contrast.

Gorgeous large cluster of sea-green zoned
Fluorite cubes with Barite
crystals!
This is a very impressive cluster that appears as several shades of
green depending on the lighting.
Displayed under incandescent lighting gives it a deep emerald-green
coloration that can at times appear to
be sea-green or bluish-green. The surfaces are glassy reflective to
lustrous satiny and in excellent condition.
A specimen that can be displayed in a variety of ways and looks
incredible when given its own light source.

Unique
specimen
of glowing Azurite crystals bordered by chatoyant
Malachite inside a Geothite matrix vug from Laos!
This large specimen could easily be confused for a Milpillas Azurite but
it's actually much rarer. It's from a small find in Laos
and the quality of the Azurite crystals rivals that of the Milpillas find.
The crystals are super sharp and incredibly glassy
with a rolling glassy luster. Under a camera flash or in case lighting, the
crystals light up with an intense blue that is the
trademark of the finest Azurites in the world. This specimen is unique in
that the Azurite crystals are snug inside a matrix
vug which serves to both display and protect them. The Azurite changes into
lustrous Malachite near the edge of the vug
but is all true blue inside the concave matrix. The largest Azurite blade
located just right of center measures 3.3 cm in size!
