Colorado Classic!! A superb
specimen featuring a perfectly terminated Selenite crystal
partially embedded by two Rhodochrosite rhombs! The Rhodochrosite crystals measure
3 cm and 2.5 cm in size. Smaller pink rosettes of Rhodochrosite accent the surrounding
edges with some Siderite and Tetrahedrite. This incredible specimen is from the American
Tunnel in Silverton, San Juan County, Colorado! The American tunnel is famous because
local miners working the Sunnyside Mine accidently dug into the floor of nearby Lake Emma
back in 1978. The mine was completely flooded and never really recovered from this
disaster.
Most higher quality specimens from the American Tunnel are now found in private
collections.
This beauty measures 6.5 by 6.5 cm in size.

This is the best Mexican Purple Creedite
I've ever seen! It's basically a geode of
sharp and terminated Creedite crystals! The crystals are protected by the surrounding
matrix and in perfect condition. The Creedite vug goes all the way from front to back
and you can actually see light through the backside. Really unusual specimen!
This specimen is circa 1984, from West Camp, Santa
Eulalia, Chihuahua, Mexico.

Fine iridescent blades of Covellite on
matrix!
This is the best Colorado Covellite I have seen in all my years of searching!
Colorado Covellite is usually golden and massive but this specimen looks more
like the fine blades one would find on a very fine Butte specimen! The color is
dark blue with purple-red accents when exposed to light. An amazing miniature!

Classic and rare Diamond on matrix
specimen from Brazil!
These Brazilian Diamond matrix specimens pre-date the Russian pieces.
The Diamond is in a conglomerate with numerous water worn stones and the
entire process of formation appears to be sedimentary. The Diamond
stands out against the darker pebbles with great flash. The photos above
display this brightness quite nicely. From Diamantina, Minas Gerais,
Brazil. Measures 5.5 cm by 8.5 cm in size with a .6 -.7 cm Diamond!

Old classic specimen!!! Dark blue rosettes
of Azurite on brown gossan matrix!
Also with some Malachite. Exceptional plate from the Czar Shaft in Bisbee, Arizona!
The pedigree of this specimen dates all the way back to the 1890's when it was in
the personal collection of mine manager Ben Williams. He was among the men who
opened the first major pocket of Bisbee Azurite and assisted in the development
of the main Bisbee operation. This specimen has been passed down through
several generations and has survived completely undamaged. Exceptional!

from the Mir Pipe in Siberia, Russia. It measures 3 cm by 3.5 cm in total size.
